I am a qualified counsellor in private practice working with a wide range of issues and I am committed to providing counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

As well as practicing privately I work as a counsellor at Sussex Breakeven, a counselling service for anyone affected by problem gambling. I am also involved with CRI-Equinox, a drugs and alcohol counselling service, and with Cruse Bereavement Care.

I work with a Person-Centred approach and believe that every individual has a natural potential for growth, change and self-determination.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have had a long interest in body psychotherapy and in the fundamental relationship between body and mind. I have 12 years background in bodywork and I am a qualified Shiatsu practitioner MRSS.

I have also an interest in Ecotherapy and Ecopsychology, in our connection to the natural world and in the relationship between nature and emotional and psychological wellbeing.

I can offer counselling sessions in Portuguese.
